Harmoni is a dear little boat, a 45-year-old UFO 34, beautifully maintained and looking for a new home. Her owner, Monika reached out to Horizon Yachts Grenada. This was a great opportunity for Jacqui Pascall to prove herself to the General Manager, Gary, as she had recently joined the Brokerage team as the Sales Associate.
And she did a terrific job, not just by making sure Harmoni was truly represented in her listing, but by finding a buyer!

“I recently decided to sell my sailing yacht in Grenada and contacted Horizon Grenada for brokerage services as they came recommended by my boatyard – and for all the right reasons as well, as it turned out!
Jacqui and Gary of Horizon Grenada, spearhead a truly dedicated team of professionals and have a real talent for making a potentially very stressful experience a smooth and enjoyable one. First of all, I loved the way my boat was represented to buyers on the website, and Jacqui spent lots of time taking a great selection of photos. The brokerage agreement, sale contract and other paperwork were clear and concise – very easy to understand and process, even for a layperson. The end-to-end process was well-explained, step by step, and supported by modern tools (such as e-signature functionality for the signature of key documents – a definite advantage as I am based in New Zealand!). Little requests “over and above”, such as, mailing me a few cherished personal belongings which I had left behind on the yacht, were quickly actioned as part of the overall excellent service.
What personally impressed me most was the top communication – this really was outstanding and helped so much to calm my anxiety, seeing that I was managing the sale of an important asset from the other side of the globe. I had regular updates as to the status of the sale, statistics on the views of my boat on the website, immediate contact when there was interest from a potential buyer, follow-ups and quick actions – and sometimes just a thoughtful “just to keep in touch” email.
In brief: the boat was sold at my target price within less than 3 months, and to top it all off the new owners called me before clearing out to say how happy they were, how much they loved the boat, and would I like to follow their voyage on Instagram to keep in touch with my “girl’s” new adventures?
